What a cute photograph!
Mind some critique?
First off, this is a great photograph. I especially love the wolves postitions next to eachother, very elegant looking! And I love the mud on the wolf in the foreground.
Even though it's a great photograph, there are elements in it that I believe take away from the photographic value of the image.
The first, being that it is overexposed. Nearly the entire body of the wolf in the background is washed out, and the head of the wolf in the foreground is washed out (overexposed).
Secondly, the small tree (cedar I'm guessing?) in front of the wolf in the foreground. Even though I know that it can't really be helped, it's still quite a bit of a distraction.
Lastly, the cropping. Unless there's something (rather than just negative space) on either side. Cropping is hardly ever really necessary.
All in all though, well done. It's a great photograph Beautiful subject!
