Size: 50 cm + 30 cm long tail weight: 2, 7 kg
Diet: rodents, lizards, birds and insects
Conservation status: Near Threatened
Enemies: humans, wolves, snakes, raptors
Interesting facts: Sand cats have thick fur on their paws, so they can walk on hot sand | cats do not have to drink water – they gain all the water they need from the body of their prey | cats dig their prey into sand to come back and eat it later | they live solitarily
