I have taken part in several contests and I've won a third place recently.

There's usually not much chance of winning if you don't happen to be a star photographer, but it's still fun, at least if the contests aren't badly organized or have a confusing theme.

I love contests on DA. I mostly enjoy searching through my photos to find the best one that fits. I haven't won any contests yet, but that's cool by me, taking part is fun too. ^^

I've entered quite a few contests already and got some good results too. I've also held some contests and that's really fun to do.

I have entered three that I can think of, some time last year. I did not win anything, but they were still fun. I got second place in a literature contest, and an honorable mention in two art contests.

i have actually taken part in a few contests and have gotten some good results. but in others it bothers me when the patron says this will be a traditional media contest and then goes behind peoples back and selects some digital art pieces or photography that wasnt suposed to be in the contest. thats the only part that bothers me but other than that i dont mind entering in them. i dont care for the prizes cause i love drawing ya know?
