Wish I could meet one of the big cats. Tiger would be the most awesome, but cheetahs are also sweet and reasonably safe to interact with. Other animals I'd love to meet in person are lemurs. It's good to have dreams :3

Oh wait, I saw a zoo in Czech that has "lemur island" where you can walk along their habitat... Hope to visit that place next year :3

When I was small I was at London zoo, in the elephant house. There was a trench in front of the enclosure and I was reaching across it to the elephants. One of them reached out its trunk to me and touched my hand. It could see I was reaching as far as I could so it went that little bit more to touch me. It was lovely. I'll remember that for ever I think.

I would love to meet a leopard. Either in a zoo or the wild and spend time with it walking or sitting ad wile away an afternoon.

I was petting Manny (the foal at my barn) from the other side of the fence. When I walked away he started following me. Then I started running and he ran with me all the way down the fence. It was awesome!

And one time at a zoo I went to, I went up to the orangutan indoor exhibit and put my hand on the glass and the orangutan put his hand up to mine

The father of a friend of mine it's the head veterinarian of a zoo in the city I live, so he invited us to learn how to define the sex of a crocodile and while we were there I got to carry two crocodiles, pet a lion and carry a baby boa and of course defined that the crocodile was male... It was an awesome experience even though it doesn't have to do anything with the kind of animals I want to work when I'm done with vet school...

i was at an aquarium in Cuba where you could swim with dolphins. its in the ocean and is divided into many pools. we went in a pool with one dolphin named tornado. he wouldn't co-operate so we decided to get out and go to another pool with 2 dolphins.
everyone was out and my mom and i were next when he came between us and he pushed me away from my mom. i wasn't scared, i just stayed calm. he stayed leaning up against me in the water for about eight minutes. the trainers tried to get him to come, they told me to clap to stimulate him to do a splash trick. he wouldn't

so finally a trainer came in and he swam away to play with him.

it was a very cool experience. i know a lot of people say this but, he looked me right in the eye and i really felt something with him. he was a very gently boy and i think he knew i was a little disappointed from and excursion that went bad earlier in the day^^
the trainers even gave me their e-mail to keep tabs on him lol
