Bitten by a squirrel + funny ZOO Vienna - PHOTOSHi
I used my a bit higher (but still pathetically low) self-confidence to meet another dA member - this time it was Shadow-and-Flame-86, lovely young scientist from Scottland, where she studies marine mammals! It was just perfect, she is very nice person, we had fun (at least me ). I am really glad we met and could chat a lot about her work, ZOOs and animals in general
What was the biggest attraction? Giant pandas? Wolves?
No! Those were squirrels
ZOO Vienna is totally full of wild but tame squirrels. And by full I mean that they are everywhere in a forest part of the ZOO! People feed them with nuts, so they come VERY close to you, they even run to humans, following them and begging I was ready for this and I prepared a sack of wallnuts for me and Shadow-and-Flame-86 to have some fun. It was amazing one squirrel bit me when she took a nut from my fingers - I was rude to hold it too tightly, I think XD other squirrel climbed me chest, other one my

I offer a lot of stuff and I hope you might find ideal Christmas present among my prints you are definitely invited to have a look at my prints: http://woxys.deviantart.com/prints/?utm_source=deviantart&utm_medium=userpage&utm_campaignrintstab
And... I ordered 15 photo books and they finally arrived!
I must say I am amazed with the quality - those are 48 pages! So many animal photos (more than 120 photos of animals!) printed on photopaper by professional company. Normal price is 52 USD without shipping. My price is MUCH lower!
So there is profi photobook, printed on photopaper, very high quality - it is a MIXTURE of many animal species, but mostly you can find WOLVES, FOXES and BIG CATS. There are also some birds, reptiles and fish
And MY price is only 25 USD, which includes economy international shipping!

ZOO Dvur Kralove - PHOTOS + lens troubles?Hi pals!
Kiriban was caught and the winner will be featured soon
I also passed all your comments and compliments (on the last journal's photos) to my parents, they were very pleased and thanked you so thanks!
This weekend I spent in mountain and I visited one of my favourite ZOOs, Dvur Kralove nad Labem. I was a bit disappointed that they moved cheetahs (I did not see them at all), because this ZOO was very good for taking photos of them. They also moved fennec foxes from very photographer friendly enclosure which allowed the foxes to enjoy some sun light into a nocturnal indoor pavilion which is very dark and you can watch the foxes only from above, so I am afraid I lost this place for fennec photos I also did not manage to take good photos of baby tigers and baby leopard although I tried a lot. It seems that my lens refuses to focuse, which scares me I admit I could take some 70 000 photos with it, but... do not die, 55-250 IS! I can not be without photography!
Fantastic white wolves - PHOTOSHi!
Nobody caughed the kiriban?
What a pity
Will, will, where are you?
I do not mean any guy (although Will Riker is kind of cute ), but my own will - I can not get into losing weight again, although I now have the perfect chance to continue! I hate my weak will so much, how comes that I can not kick myself to continue, especially when I see it IS possible? :/ nah, I am so angry at myself. Go, stupid Woxys! There are still 20 kilos of fat which wait to be removed.
Mhhhhhm, I really need to start, as even the current state makes me feel much happier than the state a year ago.
Sorry for talking about this issue a lot, it is not easy, although I have already managed to lose some 20 kilos. And now other 20 should go away! It is just hard, because yes, it is nice I lost so much, but I am still so terribly overweight I have so many motivation clothes, but I obviously need a big kick to continue. GOOO, blonde, go but thank you for your support, you are awesome.
Snow is here - wolves on snow - PHOTOSHi!
The first snow came - it was very thin layer, much less than 1cm, so it did not survive the night, but it still pleased me
It inspired me to post some photos of wolves on snow - those shots are quite old
Wohoo, this number of pageviews? thanks people, it looks nice - I wonder if I can make it to 1 000 000 until the end of 2012! it would be awesome
News+ ZOO photos + KIRIBAN is cloooose UPDATEHi

In case you noticed (I do not think so ), sorry for low activity in last days - I had too many things to do
I got back from Berlin, then we got prepared for a wedding! then my parents went to Georgia (I can not say I am happy about it), then it was the wedding, then it was my sister's birthday and then I went to Nuremberg - I got back today
I also answered all 120 notes, sorry it took so long! I already have 16 new ones...
Oh, a wedding!
Nope, it was NOT my wedding ;D it was a wedding of my beloved and admired cousin - I love him so much! He is so smart, honest, responsible, caring, intelligent, likeable, hansome, loving, ambicious, educated, helpful person and I can continue with superlatives. I lo

Special feature for my best friend Allerlei: I am with you, pal
Is anybody here? + news + ZOO animals - PHOTOS.Hi!
Ok, ok, ok, I am almost scared - what happaned? It seems that this site is totally empty for last week!
I wonder what caused this: Sandy? Or do Americans have some Halloween holiday so they are not online? Or... is there some secret and slow Zombie attack?
Of course dA decided to use this time to announce free shipping usually they do it before Christmas and I usually get pretty nice money from it. This time I got just few dolars, so I hope dA will repeat the action - just before X-mas as they did the last year. Because this site really seems to be empty now! as a response to a free shipping, I released Free calendar for 2013 - I think I have never had so few faves, views and downloads on it. What a pity, what a bad time
I know about Sandy, it was covered by Czech media a lot
Poor people, I hope everything will be fixed as soon as possible. I did not know it affected so many people
You also know I asked you to vote for Allerlei's photo - thank you
DD for some of you :)Hi!
At first, there is a new kiriban: catch my 955 555 pageviews and send me a printscreen via note as a proof to win a feature
No feature for animal cruelty or porn, thanks for understanding.
At second, no, I did not get any DD (only one - bur many years ago buhhehehhehe )
But I have suggested many deviations for DD and I was disappointed when I got no reply and those deviations have not been accepted I think some of those artists created absolutely incredible work and they definitely deserve more attention.
Today, I will show you some of the deviations I have suggested (or plan to suggest) for DD, but which have not been noticed or accepted by admins, which made me really sad and disappointed. DA has some rules for featuring a deviation as a DD, it says that suggested artist should not have a DD yet, it should not be very famous artist and it should include some info about a subject in the descriptions. Those artists followed the rules, but their art has not

Artists That Inspire Me 11Welcome to all reading this journal my regular feature of the work of others. Before introducing the latest selection of works to you, I would just like to acknowledge the contribution my wife Dawn makes towards this deviant art journal and page. Not only does she provide personal inspiration to myself, she has repeatedly demonstrated a very keen eye for all things artistic and introduced me to the works of many exciting artists on DA. Thank you for that Dawn.
Below are the artists whose work has inspired me since my last journal entry. The selections made by no means cover everyone that deserves to be here. In time many many more will follow, as with each passing week I discover so many more talented creative people on here, that one journal entry could never do them all justice. So many of you out there are producing work that leaves me in awe, and it would be unfair of me not to acknowledge the creators of work that has caught my eye and imagination. This journ

An artwork of your animal friend
By an animal friend, I mean your own pet, but it can also be your family pet, family dog for example, as well as some animal you're closely connected to and love very much, like that one special horse of your granddad's you made friends with and love to ride.
Does my animal friend have to be..uhm...alive?
No. I even encourage making an artwork of an animal you loved very much, but unfortunately is no longer with you, for whichever reason. Always wanted to draw your dog you spent so many wonderful years together? Now's a good time.
Introduce us to your animal friend

The Hobbit: An Unexpected JourneySaw The Hobbit last night. It was very good... if a bit long. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for seeing all the little details interconnecting The Hobbit to Lord of the Rings and all that, but for the average watcher... eh... it kinda dragged. I overheard several people saying they fell asleep during the film, and I noticed more than once a number of people fidgeting and looking at their watches. Still, it's a damn fine movie and It's a shame we have to wait so long for the next two films.
Having The Hobbit being written during the beginning of Lord of the Rings is pretty smart. You could effectively watch the 3 Hobbit movies and then immediately move right into the 3 Lord of the Rings movies. Kudos to Jackson for that, it'll be great to marathon run the two trilogies back to back.
This movie was, like the book, much lighter and funnier than The Lord of the Rings and I was surprised at how much from the books they actually kept. They

Forum Features: Contrast!Once again, the CV team is here featuring the works of dA's beloved forumers!
Once per month we'll select one active user in the forums and we'll feature his or her gallery. This is someone we believe represents the forums well with both good forum-abilities and art.
As we're kind (and awesome), we also decided to give an opportunity to everybody to get featured! Every month, we'll create a thread in the Deviation Thumbshare Forum with a different theme. This thread will be made into a sticky for easy access. All you have to do is post thumbs from your gallery matching the theme and, at the end of the month, we'll select our favorite thumbs from that thread and feature them in the next news article
The best thing is that the only requirement is that you're an active member of the forums!
Featured Forumer of the Month: MasterPlanner.

All Here For A ReasonI turned onto a shady, well-manicured driveway that, for all intents and purposes, looked harmless enough. Maple trees lined both sides of the street, and a parade of Canadian geese marched across the road to a wide duck pond with a flamboyant fountain. There were blooming crepe myrtles and rose-of-sharons, and as I grew closer to my destination, neatly trimmed gardens with neatly trimmed bushes.
I stopped to let the geese pass. They looked at me; one hissed. I honked my horn and moved around them.
At the end of the road sat a collection of grayish buildings and a number of signs directing me to the appropriate parking lot. "Welcome to Ten Creeks Hospital," said one of them. "Please enjoy your stay." I parked in the visitor's lot. Surely I wouldn't be staying.
I was shaking when I got out of my car. I had spent the morning getting high. One foot in front of the other, flip-flop noises, hot sidewalk. Mulberry and magnolia trees, freshly shaved grass. A bench and pan for smokers. A set o
