In case you noticed (I do not think so ), sorry for low activity in last days - I had too many things to do
I got back from Berlin, then we got prepared for a wedding! then my parents went to Georgia (I can not say I am happy about it), then it was the wedding, then it was my sister's birthday and then I went to Nuremberg - I got back today
I also answered all 120 notes, sorry it took so long! I already have 16 new ones...
Oh, a wedding!
Nope, it was NOT my wedding ;D it was a wedding of my beloved and admired cousin - I love him so much! He is so smart, honest, responsible, caring, intelligent, likeable, hansome, loving, ambicious, educated, helpful person and I can continue with superlatives. I love him a lot and I am happy we almost grew together - my and his families live close to each other (1km), so our families with 4 kids (me, my sister, my two cousins - a boy and a girl) spent and still spends lot of time together we had trips together, vacations together, free time together, we four spent a lot of time with our granparents and my mother or aunt cared for us, preparing fun when it was needed so we have really close relationship. My cousin met his girlfriend when they both attended the last year of high school - they are together for 14 years! I like his girlfriend a lot, we all meet very often, so we know each other they both are the most lovely pair you can imagine, both of them having the best qualities EVERYBODY was very happy when they announced the wedding! Thanks to this, the wedding and following party were totally full of extremely positive atmosphere, as thanks to their nature, they made many many many friends who are happy for them I even bough my first dress and high-heel shoes to be nice at their wedding. The ceremony and party were so stylish and I loved that unlike others, they totally did not take it hysterically just a day they wanted to enjoy. I am so happy they are married and that their wedding was so nice - I almost cry by happiness when I write this
The wedding had the only bad point for me - I almost never drink alcohol (except of Burčák (hi, Dani ), which is a low alcohol by-product of making wine), as I hate beer and wine gives my face and body awful big red spots. But time to time, like 1-3x a year, I like to have a glass of some spirits, especially Becherovka (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Becherov…). But in the Czech republic, there is a scandal right now - 23 people died as they poisoned themselves when they drank spirits. It was obviously falsed and it included very poisonous methanol, which causes blindness and following death. It was quite a shock, because this really DOES NOT happen in this country!!! The doctors say they do not remember a case of a death caused by methanol. Because the situation was severe and the source or the alcohol with high concentration of methanol is still unknown, the Ministry of health annouced the prohibition - nobody is allowed to sell any drink which has more than 20% of alcohol. It was announced just few hours before the wedding! we are not drinkers, so everybody just laughed at it, but I really wanted to have free evening with few glasses of something harder. Finally I was the only person who did not drink and I had to drive back home, as I did not force myself to have at least one glass of some softer alcohol, which would prevent me from driving
Nuremberg: the trip was cool, although I am a bit disappointed by the dolphin lagoon, as it is not very photographer friendly when I saw the plans of the lagoon before the construction itself begun, I did not like the position of the only underwater viewing window. It was on the edge, and I was afraid dolphins would not swim there. Well, they do not :/ they stay in the shallow part, swimming there, almost completely avoiding the deeper part with the viewing window. I managed to stay there alone with them and to attract them with a plushie, so they came really close but taking a decent photo is very difficult there. I will have to save money for Harderwijk, I am afraid :/
My trips to Nuremberg are always a bit wild - this one started at 8pm, I got to Nurnberg at 3am and I hid myself in the building of main train station as I felt safe there. At 6:45, I bought a coffee a breakfast a ticket and got to the ZOO to be one of the first visitors. I left the ZOO at 7:30pm as one of the last visitors and I just spent last hours in Nuremberg in their tube and trams. I hate waiting for the bus, it is the worst part of all. The bus came at 2:20 am and I got to Brno at 9:30 am, tired, but excited. Nice, right?
The bad part: late dinners in Berlin + dinner in Indian restaurant as a b-day celebration of my sister + wedding lunch + wedding party with LOT of fantastic meals + next day's post wedding lunch + eating in Nuremberg + another little celebration of my sister's b-day = + 2 kilos for Woxys. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
And I can not decide if this person is a troll, or if it is EXTREMELY touchy, if it has no sence of humor or if it is totally stupid: comments.deviantart.com/1/3264…;
she should go and sue James Cameron, whose Titanic included that quote
Doufám, že tento otráven alkohol nepřišel z Polska (slyšel jsem, že tak to bylo)
Very cute photos, you always have something nice to share! Did you say you want to the zoo at 6 in the morning and then left around 7:30 at night??? WOW! Long day! Our zoos here are not even open that late most open around 10am and close 4pm or 5pm. :/
And that person doesn't seem to know what discrimination actually is I don't think
And your pictures are proof that "good" is a relative term...Impressed as always
I am sure next time you go there (maybe let me know so we can go together? I am working again regularly now that the holidays are over but if we plan the trip there in advance I could try to get off-work), the fellas will be closer to the window. Maybe just cos they wanna have a good laugh at me?
Did you see the snow leopard babies??? Was Indra in the habitat as well?
Gotta love the sealions, they are always so droll to watch.
I hope you had a good time in Nuremberg, my lovely hometown. Even though the weather was all sorts of random lately.
Don't worry, 2 kilos are a piece of !
that red panada picture is too cute! *want*
