The prophecy of pheasants + ZOO Vienna - PHOTOSHiiii!

I know, that title is crazy, right?
But laugh or not, pheasants and their prophecy are important factor for me

Since I started attending my high school, I was always looking for pheasants every day I travelled to school. No, I do not live in a village, my home is in the second biggest Czech city. But when I want to get to the centre, I need to travel through the part, which looks like countryside. And very often, it is possible to see pheasants there. And as I am not normal (

), I just made up my own legend - when I saw a pheasant, I usually had a lucky day. So pheasants were my lucky sign. Everytime I saw it, I stopped being worried about tests or late arrivals, because I knew it would be fixed somehow. But if I did not see any pheasant, I was pretty nervous (By the way, I was crazy enough to make another signs: to go under the bridge by bus, when there was a train on the bridge meant luck too -

Yay, I have only three last driving lessons before the final exam!

And I need to start writing my final thesis again! I bet you hate this line at least as much as me

I also made a totally delicious dessert with two different cremes, it took me at least 5 hours to finish it - but do not worry, one can eat only very small portion every day and I will give some pieces to my grandfather, friend and sister's boyfriend

And I need to ride a bike again - that Alpen trip interrupted my sporting again and I need to get used to it again

I at least had some nice hour of fast walking on Monday

Doctor's days are finished, I believed XD
It took me more than a month and half to find the courage to visit my doctor to finally see results of my blood tests - I am always nervous about it, because I am terribly afraid of diabetes. My dad says I can get it.
But fortunately, everything is ok

So I am healhy - and everything about my weight is in my own hands.
I kind of hoped in a miraculous solution ,,Oh Woxys, we find a reason why you are so fat! You miss XY, but it is not a big deal - I will give you an injection and until tomorrow, you will lost 20 kilos!"

Oh, I think it is better to be healthy and have all tested items in good numbers

So... all I need is to persist, to move and so.
I have already got used to eating 5 times a day, which is a good step. I am now getting used to drink 2,5 litres of water (I mix 10-20ml of a juice, a spoon of fresh lemon juice with 500ml of water) a day, but it is much more difficult!

The bad / sad issue with the stubborn person I love is not fixed, but at least it seems to improve. I am afraid it can never be absolutely ok, which makes me feel sad for that person. You know, you offer a hand, which is refused, while this person wants you to offer a hand, just in a different way, but he refuses to say which way. Mhm. As I say, it brings me down a bit, because this person is sad and I have always done my best to help. The bad thing is, there is no 100% solution. At least it seems to get better and I am grateful for it, although it is kind of difficult to forget some things which have been said and which somehow hurt

As I said, the ZOO visit on Friday made me very happy

to be honest, I came to Brno so tired and hungry, that I joined my family in a restaurant (TVD, you remember Richard, right?

) and ate incredibly big portion of pretty unhealthy food for dinner

but I do not regret, it was delic

Some annoying things, beautiful animals - PHOTOSHello!
Mhm... I must say I am kind of annoyed - when I got to Austria, I saw that they have the same goods as here in the Czech republic - but the quality was much better. My parents agree with that - my mum even buys some chemicals for cleaning and washing powders in Austria, because the same things are much less effective here. If you buy the same chocolate here in the Czech republic and then you taste the same chocolate in Austria, the taste is very different. You might say: ,,ok, the Czechs probably prefer lower price to quality." But the most annoying thing is, that in the Czech republic, the same things have not only lower quality, but they have HIGHER price at the same time. And the month's salary of the Czechs is so much lower!

it makes you really feel like some second-class person. Very stupid thing - experts have already proved that goods with MUCH lower quality are exported to countries of Central and Eastern Europe. But the European union said such praxis is OK, that

Today I post photos of my favourite cats, snow leopards. All were taken in ZOO Jihlava with Canon Powershot S5 IS. I still have some sharp photos of nice moments, which I somehow "saved for better occassion". Ironically, I now do not feel like posting them, because although they are sharp and bright, they do not have SLR quality of shots taken with my SLR camera. There are also some very cute poses of baby snow leopard, so I might still post them later. I will consider it.

Hi.

Nah. Every year, my family visits Vienna's exhibition groud to see new trends of interior design, furniture and similar stuff. Of course I go with them and when they are observing the sofas and tables, I go to the local famous ZOO. Every year, I am looking forward to it as a small kid. This year the visit was planned for this day and I was very excited, trying to plan the details to spend in the ZOO as much time as possible. They currently have TWO black jaguars and I really long to take photos of those cats. But family canceled the trip 10 minutes after today's midnight, saying that we are not going anywhere. I was very disappointed and it made my mood even worse, because I was really so much looking forward to visiting so many animals and feeding local squirrels. Instead, I spent WHOLE weekend in a bed, eating chocolate, watching stupid TV series, which now makes me feel like slapping myself

I think about visiting this ZOO anyway, but instead of getting there for free in our family car, I will need to pay for travelling by bus, for underground and for ZOO entry, which is pretty expensive in Vienna. Nah. I get that those are stupid problems (people have cancer or die at wars, while I just did not get to a ZOO), but as you can understand, I am really not pleased.
