Snow is here - wolves on snow - PHOTOSHi!
The first snow came - it was very thin layer, much less than 1cm, so it did not survive the night, but it still pleased me

It inspired me to post some photos of wolves on snow - those shots are quite old

At first, thank you for very interesting discusion under my last journal - although I did not reply to every comment, be sure I read every single one!

do not be afraid, I definitely do not judge USA and its citizens through some reality shows

here in the Czech republic we also have really stupid shows and so, I think it is a world epidemy

I always keep in mind that USA is huge country with a large scale of people of all the qualities

some of you said they are ashamed to be Americans - I do not think there is a reason for it, as your country has f.e. many good universities or scientists!
I had a bad day today. I got totally stressed (I can not say why - maybe because of my stupid diploma thesis?) and when I get stressed, I eat. Holy mother, I ate such a crap today, that I feel really guilty and if I did not feel a strong resistance against it, I would like to kick myself to threw it all away

Tired, news + when the beauties sleep - PHOTOSHi!
I am so tired - I had to wake up at 5 AM, because I had my driving lesson and also exams.
I passed the computer test weeks ago, I got 100% of right answers.
I also passed the exam of technical knowledge weeks ago.
But I failed to pass practical driving exam for two times!

they say that only 20% people pass all three exams for the first attempt. But my second attempt was absolutely screwed up - I was so depressed about it, feeling so ashamed.
But today I passed also this part, so I will have a driving licence soon

I am sleepy now - today's journal is fitting, as it feature cute sleeping poses of relaxing animals

BABY LIONS - photos! But I am ill now :(Hi people!
Yesterday I went to ZOO Olomouc with my great friend =amrodel - she has never been to this ZOO and because it is one of my the most favorite animal facilities, I really wanted to show her! And because =amrodel is a lion lover and because baby lions were born in Olomouc, we could not have a better opportunity to meet! It is always a pleasure to see :devamrodel and we really had fun. It was fantastic to watch whole lion family - father Šimon was so desperate, because his babies wanted to play with his tail! He really seemed very unhappy about it. But we had fun.

My fox mug is broken

noooo! It slipped from the sink and fell down and although the mug is quite massive, it did nit survive. Hell!

Doctor's days are finished, I believed XD
It took me more than a month and half to find the courage to visit my doctor to finally see results of my blood tests - I am always nervous about it, because I am terribly afraid of diabetes. My dad says I can get it.
But fortunately, everything is ok

So I am healhy - and everything about my weight is in my own hands.
I kind of hoped in a miraculous solution ,,Oh Woxys, we find a reason why you are so fat! You miss XY, but it is not a big deal - I will give you an injection and until tomorrow, you will lost 20 kilos!"

Oh, I think it is better to be healthy and have all tested items in good numbers

So... all I need is to persist, to move and so.
I have already got used to eating 5 times a day, which is a good step. I am now getting used to drink 2,5 litres of water (I mix 10-20ml of a juice, a spoon of fresh lemon juice with 500ml of water) a day, but it is much more difficult!

The bad / sad issue with the stubborn person I love is not fixed, but at least it seems to improve. I am afraid it can never be absolutely ok, which makes me feel sad for that person. You know, you offer a hand, which is refused, while this person wants you to offer a hand, just in a different way, but he refuses to say which way. Mhm. As I say, it brings me down a bit, because this person is sad and I have always done my best to help. The bad thing is, there is no 100% solution. At least it seems to get better and I am grateful for it, although it is kind of difficult to forget some things which have been said and which somehow hurt

As I said, the ZOO visit on Friday made me very happy

to be honest, I came to Brno so tired and hungry, that I joined my family in a restaurant (TVD, you remember Richard, right?

) and ate incredibly big portion of pretty unhealthy food for dinner

but I do not regret, it was delic

Shame about fennecs + my favourite wolves - PHOTOSHi!
I went to my beloved ZOO Olomouc to photograph animals yesterday - I needed a break from the thesis writing.
I spent hour or maybe more with my favourite wolf subspecies - Iberian wolves. They were very active and even aggresive, snapping their jaws and snarrling a lot. One of them tried to catch a crazy rodent. It was fun and I got many photos for you

But the bad news - fennec fox got a new light in their enclosure. It is a red light and it TOTALLY does not allow you to photograph, because the specific light ruins the texture of the animal's fur and there is no chance to get any photo

I am sad about it, I loved this place for fennec photography

now it has been lost... in ZOO Dvur Kralove, they put those foxes into very dark indoor exhibit, so this place is also lost and in Prague, you never see them... Hm... I am a bit sad about it, I would miss those little guys

At second, female polar bear Cora and her babies are fine! You can see the video which was taken soon after birth here: http://video.idnes.cz/?idvideo=V121126_142654_tv-zpravy_sha
You can nicely see both twins and the most adorable movement of Cora, who uses her paw to get the cubs close to her chest to keep them safe and warm

Cora is now supposed to let them rest on her chest, guarding and feeding them for few months! I hope whole the family will be ok!
You can also watch the mom and babies here - http://www.zoobrno.cz/cs/videogalerie/ do not forget to turn the sound on, you would be shocked how NOISY those tiny, less than a week old babies are! Please, keep in mind that only 10-20% babies survive in ZOOs, so you can see some sad things while you watch the stream. Ok?

A bit more than 1 month until Christmas - time to announce my stuff

I really think some of those might be nice gifts - especially when it comes to print/gifts, which are not only originals with animal photos, but also USEFUL! Last year, I used donated points to order some of my stuff from DA, because I wanted to know the stuff I sell. I got 6 mugs and I was amazed with quality - I use them on daily basis and they are so cool! And I got also a calendar - and again, I can say the calendar's quality made me really happy, photos are sharp, colours are vivid and the format of calender allows you to note your own stuff into it

So I am definitely not ashamed to offer my stuff - I believe it can really make people happy

The last drop was a guy who posted a comment under my last red fox photo, who was not able to understand that photos of foxes do not belong to Domecticated category, although those are captive animals and he was not even able to understand the description of the photo, which clearly states I did not take the photo in the wild. And he mistook domestication (which is a long lasting process of turning of wild animal species into an animal fully living or depending or serving to humans) to keeping wild animals. OMG, people those days!

I have already met several people who did not understand that, so to make it clear:

According to rules of DA:

Domestic animals category: Photographs of animals that have been domesticated (tamed to live with humans), as either pets or livestock, and which depend on humans for survival.

Wild animals category: Photographs of animals that do not typically live with people including captive wild animals. INCLUDING CAPTIVE WILD ANIMALS! Is it so difficult to understand it?

On the other note: thesis and overeating... huh.

On the other hand, this pleased me a lot!

Question! In the first photo: is it just my computer settings, or does that tiger have 2 different colored eyes? Because on my screen, it appears to have one normal green eye and one eye that's almost blue...
And yes, people can be a bit... what's the word... unbelievable sometimes.
