Wild crazy Eurasian red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris, Veverka obecná) from ZOO Nuremberg, Germany
Story of the photo: I visit ZOO Nuremberg very rarely, but almost everytime I get there, I see this red squirrel on the same place, so I guess it is always the same animal. This time, the cutie got crazy - it was close to me, just above my head and it was TALKING with a voice of a snarrling cat, saying ,,MÍÍÍÍÍÍÍ!" all the time. Crazy!
I sell a colourful mug edition with wolf and big cats photos!
And I offer you WOLF PHOTO CALENDAR FOR FREE! Just it, please

The Schönbrunn garden in Vienna quite literally swarms with these, and they are not afraid. They eat right in your hand and even sometimes climb on people ^^. This one is very cute
Here in the US I have seen some grey squirrels with a bit of the red squirrel color mixed in their fur.
I don't see squirrels as evil. I like them and find them amusing to watch, several years ago I had the privilege to hand feed one a few peanuts. He ate them right next to me, the last one I gave him he carried away with him, most likely to his nest.
