INFO ABOUT THE ANIMAL:Name: Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus)
Location: Africa and Southwestern Asia
Size: 135 cm long body + 84 cm long tail
weight: 65 kg
Diet: gazelles, impala and similar mammals
Conservation status: Vulnerable
Interesting facts: female gives birth to 1-5 cubs who have long mane on their heads and necks. Only mothers care for kittens
| cheetahs are the only big cats, whose claws are always visible, they can not hide them
| cheetahs with very rare amazing dark colouring and dark stripes on their backs are called ,,the king cheetahs“
| cheetah is the fastest mammal, as it can run 110 km per hour while chasing the prey. But cheetah can run so fast only for very short distance
| cheetahs have very flexible backbone
