Hi Woxys, I really like this picture, it's beautiful, but I have to tell you that this is the first time that I have ever found your watermarks/signatures invasive. This is the *only* time I have ever been distracted from the beauty of your photos by a watermark/signature! But I do understand you have to have them :( it is hard.

you are right, this time I was also unhappy about the watermark :(
you can see that I was aware of it, because I normally use my name + link to woxys site and this time I used only my name to make it at least a bit accaptable. But I agree, on this photo, it is disturbig :( sorry... you know, thieves.. :(

Pretty though they might be, I wouldn't want to run into one! Very nice catch on the lower fish; you got him at a perfect time, with all those spines fanned out like that.

Looks like you must've caught a small shark darting out of frame. I was wondering how a lion fish suddenly had a shark tail ;)

This is ironic that you're posting a picture of a lion fish, because for some reason that type of fish was brought up in one of my classes today.

In response to someone's comment about these fish, my professor said, "I need some poisonous quills or something so when I don't want to talk to people I can go [stabbing motion] BACK UP OFF OF ME"
I tell you this because I found it funny then and ironic now.

Very nice shot! To be more specific they are known as the Volitans lionfish, as there are many kinds. They are the most popular to use in aquariums because they swim more than their cousins, some of which sit on the bottom only.
