Location: Asia: Bangladesh, Burma, India, southern China, Taiwan, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Size: 90 cm weight: 5Kg
Diet: small aquatic animals
Conservation status: Vulnerable
Interesting facts: it is the smallest species of otter | female gives birth to 1-6 babies. Babies open their eyes after 40 days and they drink milk for 3 months | they live in groups | they are perfect swimmers
