Baby and one year old Arctic wolf (Canis lupus arctos, vlk arkticky) from ZOO Brno, Czech republic Here you can see first photos of baby wolf puppies born in 2012 - [link] And a journal with photos of wolf mating: [link]
It was interesting to watch the pack today - babies are already leaving the burrow and all the wolves are so excited about it. Atila is a good dad again, caring for puppies. But the most excited guys are one year old wolves, siblings of this years's litter. Youngsters were always close to the puppies, touching them, controling them, being very curious about them this baby left the burrow to climb a little hill to say its hello to a big ,,brother"

Adults are completely white, even in summer | arctic wolves live in the pack of some 7-10 members. Only alpha male and alpha female mate | arctic wolves have shorter ears and nose than other wolves species. They also have thicker fur, shorter legs | they do not run too fast, their advantage is persistence ZOO: to see exhibit of arctic wolves, click Here
