Description

Corsac fox (Vulpes corsac, Liška korsak) from ZOO Berlin, Germany :aww:

Yay, I am SO happy this fox is finally in my gallery! I travelled many kilometres to see it and I am shocked and pleased that I managed to take a photo of this fantastic animal, although there was a double fence and the weather was cloudy and rainy :D
Now I have: arctic, red, silver, fennec, bat-eared and corsac fox in my gallery. Quite a good collection :D

Interesting facts: Corsac fox is a rather small fox. The colour of the foxes varies among the populations, but it is usually grey-yellow | Corsac fox is the most active during the evening and night. During the day, they stay hidden in a burrow – corsac foxes live in groups, making small colonies | mother gives birth to 2-11 kits | Corsac fox is less smelly than other fox species | Corsac foxes are bad and slow runners, but good climbers | although people hunt them for fur and although the populations can be very damaged by natural disasters, their numbers are able to recover quickly.

Den hab ich bisher noch gar nie bei uns hier gesehen. Muss ich gleich mal  nachholen. Warst du im Zoo am bahnhof oder im Berliner Tierpark?
