Corsac fox (Vulpes corsac, Liška korsak) from ZOO Berlin, Germany
Yay, I am SO happy this fox is finally in my gallery! I travelled many kilometres to see it and I am shocked and pleased that I managed to take a photo of this fantastic animal, although there was a double fence and the weather was cloudy and rainy
Now I have: arctic, red, silver, fennec, bat-eared and corsac fox in my gallery. Quite a good collection

Name: Corsac fox (Vulpes corsac)
Location: Steppe, semi-arid climate: Central Asia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China
Size: 70-90 cm (including tail) weight: 2-3 kg
Diet: small rodents, insects, berries and fruits
Conservation status: Least Concern
Interesting facts: Corsac fox is a rather small fox. The colour of the foxes varies among the populations, but it is usually grey-yellow | Corsac fox is the most active during the evening and night. During the day, they stay hidden in a burrow – corsac foxes live in groups, making small colonies | mother gives birth to 2-11 kits | Corsac fox is less smelly than other fox species | Corsac foxes are bad and slow runners, but good climbers | although people hunt them for fur and although the populations can be very damaged by natural disasters, their numbers are able to recover quickly.
